The company offers a range of flooring products, including carpet and other surface materials, for residential and commercial spaces. Team members support both showroom operations and product handling to ensure customers receive accurate orders and timely service. Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in North Bay, ON. This position is responsible for receiving and organizing flooring materials, preparing customer orders, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean, and well-organized. Day-to-day tasks include unloading deliveries, verifying shipment accuracy, packing and staging orders, and assisting with inventory counts. The role also involves operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), and coordinating with sales and installation teams to ensure products are ready for pickup or delivery. The Warehouse Associate will follow company safety procedures and may assist with occasional customer pickups or basic showroom support. Qualifications Experience with Shipping & Receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing orders and managing documentation. Ability to perform Packing and Unloading duties, including manual lifting and safe handling of flooring materials. Skill in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with appropriate certification where required. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment. Capability to perform physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate to heavy items safely. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing are an asset. Prior warehouse, retail flooring, or building materials experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
