Duties Operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently. Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products. Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper storage. Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for quality and accuracy. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on heavy machinery. Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks when needed, including handling construction materials or heavy lifting projects. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution centers or manufacturing environments. Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, order pickers, cranes, or other heavy equipment is a plus. Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation enhances your ability to perform duties effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina is essential. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, packaging, and load/unload procedures. Construction or manufacturing experience can be advantageous for handling specialized tasks.
