Overview: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at Rochester Sports Autographs, a company specializing in autographed sports memorabilia. This role is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping merchandise while ensuring that every item is handled with care and accuracy. Our inventory may include autographed jerseys, helmets, equipment, and other collectible merchandise. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping an organized warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring every customer order is fulfilled to the highest standard. Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. Careful Handling of Collectibles: Handle valuable and collectible merchandise with care to prevent damage, scratches, creases, or other issues that could affect product condition or value. Packing & Shipping: Package merchandise securely using appropriate protective materials and shipping methods to ensure safe delivery. Inventory Organization: Maintain an orderly warehouse by organizing products, labeling storage locations, and keeping inventory easily accessible. Inventory Accuracy: Assist with regular inventory counts, cycle counts, product reconciliation, and investigation of inventory discrepancies. Quality Control: Verify product descriptions, SKUs, item condition, and order accuracy before merchandise leaves the facility. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized while following company procedures and safety guidelines. Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, operations, customer service, and sales teams to meet daily fulfillment goals and shipping deadlines. Qualifications: Prefer a candidate with past work experience pertaining to the responsibilities above. Understanding of proper packaging techniques for fragile, high-value, or condition-sensitive merchandise.
