Warehouse Associate

Feed the Hunger is a Christian non-profit ministry whose mission is to feed the physical and spiritual hunger in needy people around the world. All employees must agree to organizational statements. Job Title – Warehouse Associate General Description: Assists the Logistics Director with all shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization, especially related to the food packing operation. (must be 18 or older to apply) · 25 hours a week · Starting hourly rate: $22 / hr · This position does not allow for remote work. Would need to be on site each day from 12:00 – 5:00 pm · Warehouse location: Argyle, TX · Forklift experience is preferred Supervision By: Logistics Director, and the COO as needed. Expectations (in no particular order) : Work with Logistics Director in the packing and unpacking/safe storage of raw materials and supplies for food packing events Assist in shipment of finished product to domestic and international destinations Help to maintain the TX warehouse Load and unload all trucks that arrive for delivery/pickup Gather a quarterly inventory count for the Logistics Director Help to maintain proper inventory control of all product and supplies for packing events Willingness to become fork lift certified if not already in possession Answer basic questions about Feed the Hunger’s beliefs and faith to the public if asked There is also an additional opportunity to occasionally assist on site with working food Packathon events for additional compensation. FtH covers all travel expenses related to assisting at the Packathon. Occasionally, we will have a container/truck that will need to be loaded in the morning. If you have a flexible schedule for those 6-8 times a year, that would be preferred. Pay: From $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
