Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems such as AS400 Perform order picking and packing with precision to ensure accurate order fulfillment for customers or manufacturing needs Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage practices Assist in construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed to support overall warehouse operations Experience Prior warehouse experience is essential; familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is highly preferred Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software like AS400 is advantageous Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and load & unload operations Construction or manufacturing background is a plus, demonstrating versatility in handling various physical tasks Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and heavy lifting Join us in creating an efficient, safe, and energetic warehouse environment!
