Job Summary The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in supporting our company’s day-to-day warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, inputting, sorting, picking, packing, loading, and unloading products with accuracy and efficiency. As a key member of our Warehouse team, the Warehouse Associate ensures that inventory is handled safely and precisely, contributing to a smooth and timely fulfillment process. Duties/Responsibilities: Unload, receive, label, and place incoming inventory items according to Warehouse SOPs Check, verify and confirm customer invoices. Audit product for quality. Accurately pick items based on Sales order sheets using handheld scanners. Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy Pack and label orders securely for shipment, following packaging guidelines Replenish picking areas from bulk storage when stock runs low Pack bags and boxes of produce and other items Inspecting, cleaning, sanitizing and refurbishing any reusable packaging materials. Load and unload Trucks. Conduct Start of Shift and End of Shift supply and facility checks. Ensure Safe Food Practices specific to the department. Maintain an organized and clean work area & assist in housekeeping of the department. Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when the need arises. Communicate with relevant team members throughout the day - ensuring up to date communications with other departments. Communicate regularly with Warehouse Leadership to identify and resolve cross-functional issues. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures. Performs other related duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. Previous experience with warehouse management systems an advantage Process-driven with a passion and drive for lean execution. Team player with organizational skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma required. Proven warehouse experience is an advantage. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to work part or all day in a cold climate (32 to 38 degrees). Ability to stay alert, on your feet, and in constant motion for most of an 8- or 10-hour shift. Ability to twist, bend, sit, and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly. Constantly reaching; frequently sitting, standing, bending, squatting, walking, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes. Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture.
