Warehouse Associate

Yilaam Housing LLC is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate – Cabinet Assembly & Delivery to join our Houston team. This is a hands-on position responsible for cabinet assembly, warehouse operations, order preparation, loading/unloading, and local deliveries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools, handling building materials, following packing lists, and working as part of a warehouse and delivery team. Responsibilities Assemble kitchen cabinets and related products in the warehouse according to product specifications. Use basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently for cabinet assembly. Accurately pull, prepare, stage, and pack orders according to Packing Lists for delivery or customer pickup. Verify item codes, quantities, and products before loading and delivery. Load and unload cabinets, countertops, flooring, wall panels, and other building materials. Make local deliveries to customers, builders, and construction job sites using company vehicles. Assist installers and project teams with loading and delivery of materials as needed. Take required photos and obtain delivery confirmation at job sites. Properly wrap, brace, pad, strap, and secure products to prevent damage during transportation. Receive, sort, stock, stage, and organize incoming inventory. Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and perform required equipment safety checks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and assembly area. Communicate effectively with warehouse, operations, project management, and delivery teams. Follow company safety policies and procedures. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Perform other warehouse, assembly, and delivery duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations, cabinet/furniture assembly, construction, remodeling, delivery, or building materials preferred. Experience assembling cabinets, furniture, millwork, or similar products is a strong plus. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and follow Packing Lists, item codes, quantities, and basic assembly instructions. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is preferred. Must be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a team environment. Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse work, including regularly lifting and moving heavy building materials. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. English required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus. Must be willing to assist with both warehouse work and deliveries based on daily operational needs.
