Requirements

Required Education And/or Experience

Work Environment
Position is an indoor warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including voices, office equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring accurate movement and storage of goods in warehouse. May work on own or as part of a team. Routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard warehouse equipment such as scanners, printers, trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
• Be aware of day-to-day functions and take the initiative when able to assist co-workers
• Use common sense and warehouse knowledge to better our business and work environment
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Wearing proper safety equipment and always follow all safety codes.
• Keep areas safe, clean, and organized
Must be able to perform the described duties and at least THREE out of the four of the following Warehouse functions: RECEIVING, PARTS PULL, SHIPPING, or CYCLE COUNT

Warehouse Functions
Receiving
Unload material, sort incoming truck shipments and identify "rush" material.
Use hand-held scanner to receive material, store correctly and write discrepancies when needed.
Perform bin and inventory adjustments of material with system software.
Must be able to monitor inbound materials and cross dock.
Package, label, consolidate and move inventory to keep warehouse neat and orderly.
Identify & label inventoried or requisition items.
Parts Pull
Use hand-held scanner and printer to locate and pull parts.
Perform bin and inventory adjustments with system software.
Able to research and use deductive reasoning to locate misplaced material
