Warehouse Associate

Hourly rate based on experience, permanent positions. Location: 8383 Riley St., Zeeland, MI 49464 Shifts Available: Full time shift (5 days – Monday through Friday, 8am until finished, generally 4pm-6-pm) POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES · Load and unload trailers. · Placing and picking product for orders from organized floor areas. · Ensure order accuracy. · Confirm contents of order match specifications according to bill of lading, ie, count, weight and size of the shipment. · Affixing or marking shipment with shipping information. · Reviewing and auditing measurements supplied by customer. · Affixes shipping labels/stencils on cartons. · Identify damaged shipments at the time of arrival, record shortages, and rectify discrepancies. · Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer specifications. · Utilize appropriate equipment to move products to/from storage areas. · Maintain a safe and clean environment. · Communicate with customer service and transportation. · Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or equivalent. · Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive environment. · Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. · Attention to detail. OTHER REQUIREMENTS · Forklift experience is preferred but not necessary. · Self-starters that can work on their own and in a team environment. · Logistics and/or warehouse experience is preferred, but not necessary. · Positive can do attitude and the aptitude to back that up.
