Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate supports daily operations in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of products. The role requires maintaining clean, safe work areas and operating powered industrial trucks. Associates contribute to efficient inventory management and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all standard operating procedures and OSHA safety standards. Operate powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down propane forklifts, and complete daily truck logs. Unload truck materials, transfer them into warehouse storage, and stage outgoing products for shipment. Pack products for shipment by shrink-wrapping, boxing, and labeling them, and verify accuracy before dispatch. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and ensure only undamaged goods are shipped. Move waste to dumpsters and remove damaged incoming materials that should not be accepted. Lift up to 30 pounds, walk or stand for extended periods, and use manual dexterity to handle small parts and operate machinery. Participate in mandatory physical inventory and adapt to varied hours, dusty areas, and extreme heat or cold conditions. Log daily truck operations and maintain accurate records. Adhere to company policies and contribute to a supportive culture that values customer service and growth. Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations. Encourage continuous improvement by learning from new situations and challenging the status quo. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Minimum of two years of related experience or training. Punctuality and excellent attendance. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle small parts. Experience operating powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, order pickers, sit-down propane forklifts). Current certification for operating powered industrial trucks. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced warehouse. Willingness to work in dusty areas or extreme heat or cold.
