Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team and help ensure smooth, efficient warehouse functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving processes. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Perform order picking using pick systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining detailed logs Handle materials with care using proper techniques to ensure safety and prevent damage during heavy lifting or transportation Maintain warehouse organization by stacking pallets, arranging inventory, and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards Support warehouse supervision by assisting in inventory counts, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring operational efficiency Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update records, and streamline order processing Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution to ensure efficient workflows, optimal space utilization, and timely processing of goods. Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, stock reporting, and coordination with suppliers to maintain proper levels and minimize discrepancies or losses. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, setting performance goals, monitoring productivity, enforcing safety protocols, and fostering a compliant, motivated team environment. Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement by implementing safety standards, security procedures, equipment maintenance, and process enhancements to meet company objectives and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations with a focus on materials handling Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for safe warehouse operations Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient inventory control Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures including load & unload processes Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting up to 50lbs consistently while maintaining safety standards and ability wo walk 15k-20k steps a day.
