Warehouse Associate

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – FULL-TIME Working as a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for providing support for various entities of the business. You must have a strong interest in supporting co-workers and customers, and the company’s efforts with the development of existing and prospective customers. You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, and order processing, while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Receiving products coming into the building by vendors or another distribution facilities accurately and promptly. Verifying the accuracy, quality and quantity of products received. Entering receipts into the computer system and printing receipts when necessary. Packaging and labeling bulk products. Placing products into appropriate storage locations. Picking and packing orders for customers. Reviewing orders to assure accuracy. Preparing shipping documentation. Addressing maintenance issues of warehouse equipment and ensuring that equipment is maintained on a regular basis. Safely operating all warehouse equipment. Assisting with simple manufacturing and assembly. Assisting with inventory audits. Performing warehouse cleaning and maintenance activities. Communicating information with co-workers when necessary. Handling special projects and other tasks as required. Occasionally driving a company vehicle for deliveries. Position Qualifications: Positive attitude with a desire to assist others. Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities. Ability to identify products by size, type, product code, and description. Basic reading, math and computer skills, and the ability to learn new computer software. Detail-oriented and the ability to follow directions well. Valid driver’s license. Ability to stand on a short ladder and reach up to pull out packaged products. Ability to lift and carry packages that may weigh up to 50 lbs. Work shift is weekday, daytime. Pay range for this position is between $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on abilities and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and retirement contributions.
