Warehouse Associate

Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be essential to warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently, and shipments are processed smoothly. Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using equipment like pallet jacks and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and quality. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with attention to detail, utilizing order picking tools and inventory management software. Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage during shipping & receiving processes. Maintain organized storage areas through stocking, inventory management, and regular stock rotation to optimize warehouse space. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software for data entry, inventory tracking, and order processing. Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Support warehouse operations by performing routine cleaning, safety checks, and equipment maintenance to uphold a safe working environment. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively. Basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and calculating weights or quantities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry, order picking, and packaging processes. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting customer service efforts.
