Warehouse Assistant Shipping Manager

Havenlight is seeking someone who is hard-working, self-sufficient, and maintains a positive attitude. They must be able to arrive daily and be willing to learn our company’s shipping operations. Priority is given to applicant with Ship Station experience. Wage depends upon experience, increases given with skill and motivation. The position is full-time, in-person, located in American Fork, UT Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Responsibilities & Requirements Work as a team Guide your team with kindness and authority Process, verify, package and ship orders daily Accurately invoice all shipped orders on time Examine returns and deliveries for defects or damage Maintain records of defects and damage Coordinate with Managers and Directors Conduct quality control reviews Receive, load and stock inventory items Operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other equipment Maintain shipping materials stock and reorder in time Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security Word processing, data entry, and general computer work Coordinate Freight schedule for large shipments Maintain accurate inventory levels Accurately log Proof of Delivery documents Required Skills Shipping experience Ship Station experience FedEx, UPS, and USPS knowledge Management experience Organizational skills Read and speak English Eligible to work in the U.S. Communication skills (both verbal and written) Helpful Skills Warehouse experience Quickbooks experience Worldwide shipping, customs knowledge Certification on warehouse equipment is helpful Attention to detail Lift/carry up to 50 lbs Havenlight is an Equal Opportunity Employer We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, military status, or any other status protected by applicable law or regulation.
