Warehouse Assistant Manager

We're hiring a Warehouse Assistant Manager for our River Falls, WI warehouse. We sell cleaning, household and pet products (Bright Box and Friendli Pet) to national retailers. This is a hands-on role. You'll work the floor with the team every day, run equipment, keep inventory and the system accurate, and back up the Warehouse Manager, including running the building when they're out. What you'll do Run daily receiving, putaway, picking, packing, staging, loading and shipping Operate forklifts and reach trucks in narrow and very narrow aisles with high-density racking Process transactions in NetSuite and RF-SMART (receipts, moves, picks, fulfillments, adjustments) so the system matches what's on the shelf Run cycle counts and track down inventory discrepancies Handle co-packing, repacking, relabeling, kitting and case pack changes to customer requirements Get orders out on time with the right carton labels, pallet labels, ASNs and paperwork Train and direct warehouse staff, set daily priorities and keep the building clean, organized and safe Do pre-use equipment checks and report damaged racking, equipment problems or unsafe conditions Look for ways to cut wasted moves, extra handling and errors What you need Warehouse or distribution experience. Experience leading a crew is a plus Hands-on experience with NetSuite and RF-SMART Able to safely run a forklift and reach truck in narrow aisles (current certification, or able to certify on our equipment) Comfortable with RF scanners and a computer Detail oriented. You check the item, quantity and label before anything moves Reliable, takes ownership and follows things through to the end Able to handle the physical side of warehouse work Nice to have Co-packing, kitting or rework experience Retail compliance labeling, ASNs and outbound shipping paperwork Cycle counting and inventory reconciliation Schedule Full-time, Monday - Friday, day shift, 40 hours a week.
