This individual will provide hands-on leadership while partnering closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to support manufacturing schedules and maintain efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong warehouse leadership experience, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to identify and implement operational improvements. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and cost management Lead and support warehouse employees while maintaining a safe, productive, and efficient work environment Partner closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to support manufacturing schedules and operational priorities Maintain and enforce warehouse safety programs, policies, and procedures Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, improve processes, and reduce operational costs Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and sanitation requirements Perform and support SQF and safety audits to maintain compliance with company and food manufacturing standards Monitor inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, product movement, and material flow Utilize analytical thinking and operational data to identify issues, make decisions, and support continuous improvement Work effectively within temperature-controlled, cold, and freezer environments as needed Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure team members follow proper equipment and safety procedures Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with identifying and resolving warehouse equipment and operational issues Qualifications 5-10+ years of warehouse experience, preferably within food manufacturing 4+ years of warehouse management or leadership experience Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, cost management, and logistics Strong knowledge of safety programs and continuous improvement practices Solid understanding of food safety standards, GMPs, and sanitation requirements Previous experience performing or supporting SQF and safety audits Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate warehouse equipment Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled, cold, and freezer environments Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or overtime when needed Demonstrated expertise with WMS and MES systems preferred Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred Experience implementing or deploying scanning hardware systems and/or RFID technology preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred If you're an experienced warehouse leader looking for an …
