Warehouse Assistant- FSL

Arnoff Moving & Storage, a prominent 102 year old logistics company in the Northeast is seeking a Warehouse Assistant- Fulfillment Service Location (UPS) for our Malta location.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Follows all safety procedures and utilizes good safety practices.
• Process, Package, and Ship Fulfillment orders accurately and within customer SLA’s.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory by following all SOPs in place.
• Unload Inbound Receipts and Put Away to Stock utilizing established methods.
• Organize and maintain warehouse space per customer SLA and as directed by management.
• Communicate with customers using Email or Phone.
• Perform Inventory Counts and maintain reports.
• Utilize Company and Customer Warehouse Management Software including barcode scanning equipment.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Must be capable of being trained on and operate powered industrial equipment such as Forklift trucks and electric pallet jacks.
• Utilize Mobile scanning equipment and Warehouse Management Systems
• Other duties as directed by management.

On Call Rotation

This position requires inclusion in an on call rotation for Emergency order fulfillment between 5:00pm and 7:00am Monday to Friday and 24 Hours Saturday and Sunday. Each rotation is 1 week and is currently 1 week every 4 Weeks. Additional Compensation is paid during the rotation week. Reliable transport is required as fulfillment must occur within 1 hour of initial call Out. Average Call outs per week – 5.

Education: High school Diploma

Experience: Minimum 1 year warehouse experience, experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse environment preferred.

Skills Required: 

Prior Utilization of Warehouse Management Software preferred.

Microsoft office suite experience.

 Email and Spreadsheet proficiency preferrable.

Able to perform basic math functions.

 Proven good safety record.

 Good organizational Skills.

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
