Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities Perform tasks and duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Record the receipt, storage, and dispatch of merchandise. Follow all cargo handling, packaging, and safety procedures and regulations. Inspect all cargo received at the warehouse and apply security tape prior to dispatch. Supervise the proper packaging and loading of cargo for shipment to its destination. Keep inventory records and systems updated, including Tracking Premium. Report any inventory or stock discrepancies. Manage shipping documentation, including shipping guides, invoices, manifests, and other related documents. Send reports of dispatched cargo to the appropriate individuals or companies. Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and properly maintained. Organize, direct, and evaluate package pickup personnel assigned to delivery and collection routes. Ensure the proper use and care of equipment and vehicles assigned to the Operations Department. Prepare monthly reports as requested by the Warehouse Manager. Position Requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in warehouses, storage facilities, or distribution centers. Experience with receiving, storage, picking, packing, pickups, shipping/dispatch, and inventory control. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management. High school diploma or equivalent.
