Warehouse assistant

To assist in the day to day activities of shipping and receiving. Will include but not limited to order processing, fork lift operating and assisting in inventory control.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders that come from sales
• Load and Unload Trucks, order picking, packing, labeling shipping and receiving
• Communicate with operators from other shifts
• Clean and maintain work area
• Operate forklift
• Operate within standard operating procedures
• Package finished product for shipping (stretch wrapping,banding,strapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage finished product for loading
• Load finished product onto trucks
• Unload raw materials from incoming trucks
• Move raw materials to warehouse storage to the production lines
• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalency
• Must be a US citizen or have a work visa
• Current forklift certification - desired, we can train
• Ability to handle high volume orders and work accurately
• Good communication skills
