Warehouse Assistant
MarineTeknik, IncJob Overview MarineTeknik is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. This hands-on role is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials used on marine electrical projects around the world. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders. Organize and store inventory accurately and maintain warehouse cleanliness. Pick, pack, label, and prepare shipments for domestic and international delivery. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory control activities. Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in the ERP system. Stage materials, tools, and equipment for project and customer requirements. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Identify damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or low stock levels. Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and warehouse best practices. Support other warehouse and material-handling duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) required. Experience handling electrical, industrial, or marine-related materials is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
