Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview Position Summary Apex Nutra is seeking a reliable, organized, and hardworking Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. This position will assist with receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities ● Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments. ● Help prepare, package, and stage finished products for shipping. ● Organize raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. ● Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records. ● Verify product quantities, lot numbers, and labels when needed. ● Keep warehouse shelves, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized. ● Assist with loading and unloading trucks as directed. ● Move materials and supplies between warehouse and production areas. ● Help prepare packing slips and shipping documentation. ● Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines. ● Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily tasks and special projects. ● Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements ● Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required. ● Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate. ● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Dependable attendance and punctuality. ● Willingness to learn warehouse procedures and inventory systems. ● Basic reading, writing, and counting skills. ● Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus but not required. Work Environment ● Manufacturing and warehouse setting. ● Regular movement of boxes, pallets, and materials. ● Must follow company safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). ● Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
