Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in being organized, detailed, and reliable. This position requires physical stamina and the knowledge and ability to use tools to build custom shipping containers. Key Responsibilities Prepare packages for shipment using appropriate packing materials while ensuring products are protected during transit Package, palletize, crate shipments Must be able to use hand/power tools in order to build custom shipping pallets and crates for odd size shipments Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, load, unload, and move inventory safely within the shop General shop clean-up General building maintenance/lawn care Able to perform heavy lifting and repetitive manual handling, and work on your feet in a warehouse setting. other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to adapt quickly and shift directions as business needs change Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills Punctual - hours are 6:30am to 3:30pm Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to maneuver up to 100lbs. Ability to use general shop and warehouse tools Ability to/experience building custom pallets is required Must be able to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, and consistently follow shop safety requirements. Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, and climb Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification (preferred) Must have a Valid driver’s license Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Application Question(s): What is your desired rate of pay?
