Warehouse Assistant

Note: Public transportation is not available.
GCI's Warehouse Assistant will assist GCI's Warehouse Specialist with all warehouse activities, housekeeping of warehouse, and occasional pick up and delivery of items with a GCI company vehicle.
Dependability, proactive, attention to detail and a positive team player attitude is crucial to this position.
Assist the Warehouse Team with:
- Unloading

material off of trucks
- Data entry
- Receive material and turn over to crews
- Prepare material for shipping (wrapping)
- Organizing shelves
-Monitoring inventories, notify supervisor when stock is low
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard
- Dispose of all garbage and recycling – ensure bins are properly sorted
- Assist in moving projects around yard via forklift
-Support fabrication teams in providing adequate supply of consumable materials and stock
-various tasks assigned as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers license with clean drivers abstract
- Valid Forklift Certificate
-CSTS and WHMIS2015
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

• Rocky View Municipal District, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
• warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
