Warehouse Assistant
GOLDEN PLUMBINGAbout the Position Golden Plumbing is hiring a Warehouse Helper to support our field teams and daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on, full-time position responsible for helping keep materials, parts, tools, and job staging organized so our plumbing crews have what they need to complete their work efficiently. No previous plumbing or warehouse experience is required. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Handle, move, organize, load, and unload plumbing materials, parts, tools, and equipment. Assist with pulling and staging materials for upcoming installation jobs. Perform routine material and parts counts to help maintain accurate inventory. Perform tool counts and assist with keeping company tools accounted for and organized. Create and set purchase orders for company material and supply purchases. Receive purchase orders and verify incoming materials and quantities. Assist with receiving, checking, and putting away vendor deliveries. Run parts and materials to field crews and jobsites as needed using company vehicles. Assist field teams with material needs throughout the workday. Maintain designated warehouse locations and return materials to the proper storage areas. Keep the warehouse, staging areas, loading areas, and workspaces clean, safe, and organized. Assist with general daytime warehouse operations and other operational tasks as assigned. Pay & Schedule $15-$20 per hour , based on experience, demonstrated ability, work ethic, and performance. Full-time, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week. Daily start time may vary depending on operational needs and the shift assigned. Additional hours may be available or required depending on company needs. Driving & Company Vehicles A valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required . Warehouse Helpers may use company vehicles for parts runs, material deliveries, pickups, and other company needs. Employees are expected to operate company vehicles safely and professionally. Physical Requirements Lift, carry, move, load, and unload plumbing materials, parts, tools, and equipment. Perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday. Safely use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as applicable. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Maintain the physical ability to perform warehouse and material-handling duties throughout the shift. What We're Looking For Prior warehouse or plumbing experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, willing to work, and able to follow processes consistently. Attention to detail is important because this position directly supports inventory accuracy, purchasing, job staging, and the field teams that depend on the warehouse every day. A strong candidate will take ownership of keeping the warehouse organized, communicate well with the team, and be willing to learn Golden Plumbing's materials, tools, and purchasing processes.
