About National Interior Solutions National Interior Solutions (NIS) is a growing commercial service company specializing in commercial kitchen equipment, ice machines, fire safety, and preventative maintenance services. We support hotels, restaurants, schools, government facilities, healthcare organizations, and other commercial customers. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to help keep our warehouse, inventory, tools, parts, and service vehicles organized and ready for our technicians. Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse. Stock and label parts, tools, equipment, chemicals, filters, and supplies. Prepare parts, equipment, and materials for technicians' scheduled jobs. Help load and unload company service vehicles. Check service vans regularly to ensure required tools and supplies are stocked. Assist with inventory counts and identify low-stock items utilizing software Receive and verify parts and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips. Keep designated areas organized for incoming parts, outgoing jobs, returns, and warranty items. Assist operations coordinator with other tasks as needed. Help maintain company tools and equipment. Keep warehouse aisles, work areas, and loading areas clean and safe. Assist with general facility and warehouse duties as needed. Communicate missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments to management. Follow all NIS safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications Previous warehouse, inventory, construction, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical experience is a plus. Must be dependable and punctual. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer and smartphone skills. Ability to safely lift and move equipment, boxes, parts, and supplies. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Pallet jack experience is a plus. Must maintain a professional attitude and work well with technicians and management. Our technicians depend on the warehouse to have the correct parts, tools, chemicals, and equipment ready before they leave for a job. We are looking for someone who takes initiative. If you see that inventory is running low, a delivery is in the wrong location, a van is missing supplies, or the warehouse needs attention, we expect you to take action and communicate with the team. Physical Requirements The position involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, loading/unloading, and working in a warehouse environment throughout the day.
