Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team at our main warehouse in Baton Rouge. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Lead. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. To be successful in this role, the employee must be able to perform all essential duties in accordance with company standards. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping, delivery, or customer pickup Receive, inspect, and verify incoming supplier shipments and customer returns Pick, pack, and prepare inventory for inter-company warehouse transfers Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify the supervisor immediately Pack orders neatly and securely, ensuring cartons are properly closed and ready for shipment Handle all merchandise with care Develop and maintain a basic understanding of company products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area Assist with other warehouse duties as needed based on workload Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality in accordance with the assigned work schedule and company standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED Basic computer skills Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from work Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to use ladders and stairs, crouch, bend, push carts, and move throughout the warehouse Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
