Warehouse - Assembly/Delivery

This position will report to our Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for filling & assembling customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity, ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of defects. Ensures that only the intended goods get delivered into and shipped out of the warehouse. Manages records of all outgoing and incoming shipments to and from the warehouse. Prepares shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders and withdrawal requests from the warehouse are correctly fulfilled. Performs the unpacking of consolidated shipment deliveries and distribute contents to the right warehouse bin location. Helps Maintain the automated inventory management system to ensure that actual physical inventory matches the database logical inventory. The Right Candidate will show a willingness to work with other members of the distribution/warehouse team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction, A positive attitude, and eagerness to learn, and a drive to succeed. *A High School Diploma or GED is required. **Basic Computer Skills are required and candidate must be willing to learn new computer skills. The candidate must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. He/she must be able to operate a forklift and must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time. The ability to follow direction is very important along with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. **Valid Driver's License is Required. Candidate must maintain a safe driving record free of violations. Candidate may be asked to perform occasional delivery duties as a backup to our regular delivery driver and must be able to pass a DOT physical. *NO CDL OR SPECIAL LICENSES REQUIRED. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to assemble, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
