the direction of our Warehouse Coordinator to meet daily production, safety and shipping goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Panel Assembly: Assemble vinyl, wood and aluminum fencing sections, gates and post components according to standard operating procedures and on time to meet installation deadlines.
• Material Handling: Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts.
• Inventory Assistance: Help with routine inventory checks and cycle counts to support the warehouse coordinator in maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep all work zones, aisles, and shipping docks clean, safe and free of debris. Always follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
• Language: Ability to understand instructions in English / Spanish are highly preferred but not required.
• Experience: Entry-level to 1 year of experience in a warehouse, retail stockroom, fulfillment center, or manufacturing environment.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, bend, reach, and safely lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.
• Equipment: Experience using manual/electric pallet jacks and forklift, pneumatic air tools, battery-operated tools and saws.
Benefits & Compensation
• Pay Range: Hourly Rate $15.00-$17.00/Hour
Technical & Hard Skills
• Equipment Operation: Knowing how to safely use pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyor belts, and machinery like forklifts (often requiring OSHA certification).
• Inventory Control: Ability to accurately pick, pack, count stock, and inspect incoming shipments for damage.
• Basic Math: Capability to count quantities, measure dimensions, weigh items, and verify paperwork.
• Physical Stamina & Strength: Ability to stand, walk, push, bend, and lift heavy loads (75 pounds) during scheduled shifts.
• Dexterity & Speed: Fast and precise hand-eye coordination for sorting and packaging goods.
Soft Skills & Work Ethic
• Attention to Detail: Precision when reading labels, matching order numbers, and preventing shipping errors.
• Time Management: Meeting strict outbound delivery schedules and working at a fast pace without sacrificing quality.
• Safety Awareness: Diligence in following workplace safety rules and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Teamwork & Communication: Clear coordination with co-workers and supervisors to reach daily targets.
• Language Skills: English and Spanish preferred but not required.
