Warehouse and Yard Associate

Job Overview Mastrangelo Fuels is looking for a responsible and motivated Full-Time Warehouse and Yard Associate. This position offers a variety of task such as, support warehouse distribution and yard operations by handling and loading packaged product, preparing orders, assisting with shipping and receiving, ensuring company sites are kept in safe and neat manner, and assisting customers with fueling vehicles as required. Duties Pick and stage orders, verify items, and prepare shipments for dispatch. Load and unload bulk deliveries Support shipping and receiving, and organize materials in warehouse and yard areas. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as appropriate to assigned tasks. Perform heavy lifting Occasionally load and deliver customer orders as needed Assist customers with fueling as needed Ensure company sites are kept clean and safe as needed (sweeping, snow shoveling, site clean up etc) Ensure all company units are kept clean and organized Experience Required: - Ability to follow safe material-handling procedures - Perform order picking and load-and-unload tasks in a efficient and safe manner - Attention to detail and maintain accurate records when shipping and receiving product. - Comfort with heavy lifting and working around warehouse, inside and outside - Operate equipment in safe manner - Support other daily operations. Preferred: - Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution and shipping and receiving, is valuable but not necessary - Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks is an advantage.
