Wilson Orchard and Vineyard SupplyJob Title: Warehouse & Shipping Lead Department: Ecommerce Reports To: Ecommerce Manager FLSA Status: Nonexempt (Hourly) Prepared By: HR Prepared Date: 10/1/2026 SUMMARY Manages day-to-day warehouse and yard functions at the Sodus location. Warehouse functions include order fulfillment (online and in-house orders), shipping and receiving (including customer returns/RMAs), transfer orders between warehouses, and inventory control. Yard functions include order fulfillment, loading and unloading product (containers, dry van, and LTL), dispatch support, and assisting drivers and customers on site. Full-time position, generally scheduled for 40 hours per week, with seasonal overtime as business needs require. Overtime must be approved in advance and will be paid in accordance with applicable federal and New York law. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a working knowledge of warehouse operations sufficient to effectively manage the flow of products into and out of the facility. Promote and model a safety-first culture and comply with all applicable safety policies and procedures. Work independently in the yard and warehouse while performing duties safely, professionally, and in accordance with OVS policies. Build shipments and follow established order-fulfillment procedures, including packaging items for safe transport, meeting fulfillment SLAs, recording fulfillments in NetSuite/ShipStation for ecommerce, regional sales teams, and the store, and verifying shipments for completeness and accuracy. Load and unload freight trucks as appropriate. Pick up and deliver materials to vendors and customers as needed. Maintain the warehouse and yard in a neat, clean, safe, and fully functioning condition, including keeping travel aisles clear and storing items in accordance with applicable safety and storage requirements. Perform inventory processes and procedures, including ABC cycle counts, to support inventory accuracy and control, and position product to improve shipping efficiency. Complete required pre-use inspections and coordinate or perform authorized routine maintenance, as applicable, on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment used to perform the job safely. Process inbound and outbound transfer orders between warehouses and receive purchase orders against vendor documentation; verify quantities and condition and update records in NetSuite. Safely and responsibly operate motor vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical equipment when required for warehouse operations or pickups/deliveries at vendor or customer locations. Move, position, and handle materials weighing up to 70 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation and using available material-handling equipment as appropriate. Foster effective communication, teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation across the organization. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and accuracy, and work with management to implement approved improvements. Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments and leaders, including Store Managers, Supply Chain Management, Sales Managers, and Operations Administration. 15.
