Diversity Drives Value: The diversity of people, thoughts, and experiences The teammate we are in search of: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Shipping Lead to be responsible for leading and performing daily operations related to Shipping and inventory control. This role ensures efficient workflow, compliance with safety regulations, and accuracy in production needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage warehouse operations effectively. Key responsibilities: -Lead and coordinate the warehouse inventory and shipping team to ensure timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments and inventory optimization. -Inspect outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, and proper documentation, resolving any issues as necessary. -Lead inventory management, including stock organization, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records. -Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all shipping and receiving activities. -Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance efficiency and performance. -Work closely with Shipping and Receiving Manager to coordinate logistics and resolve receiving concerns. -Operate and ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. -Generate reports on shipping and inventory activities for management review. -Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize workflow. -Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of all shipments. EDUCATIONAL OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus). - Minimum of 3 years experience in shipping or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year supervising others. - Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control. - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related so…
