Warehouse and Production Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse and Production Manager to lead our supply chain operations, optimize warehouse and manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, production planning, logistics, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. Duties Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and distribution activities to ensure seamless flow of goods. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Oversee production planning and materials management to meet demand forecasts while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination to optimize freight movement, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a safety-first culture across all operations. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers, and freight carriers to ensure reliable transportation solutions. Utilize ERP systems and warehouse management systems for real-time data tracking, inventory control, and reporting analytics. Drive initiatives in process management, supply chain analytics, demand planning, and distribution management to support organizational growth. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all warehouse and production activities. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong background in supply chain management including inventory control, logistics planning, freight management, and distribution operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings; excellent managerial communication skills are essential. Familiarity with ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis purposes. Ability to analyze supply chain data for continuous improvement opportunities; experience with supply chain analytics is a plus. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory management techniques, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling practices. Required Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Understanding of functionality of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software programs.
