Position Overview We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse & Production Manager onsite at our location in Wayne, New Jersey. This dynamic role will oversee daily operations of our lean and growing Production and Warehouse functions, including receiving, sorting, securing, tracking, cleaning, processing, packing, storage, and movement of customer contents. Key Responsibilities Warehouse and Production Operations Oversee daily production and warehouse activities of small growing warehouse function to ensure efficient workflow, quality and timely completion of jobs. Coordinate accurate receiving, sorting, tagging, tracking, cleaning, packing, storage, and movement of customer belongings. Ensure items are properly identified, documented, organized, and maintained throughout the production process. Monitor daily productivity and establish clear expectations for production times. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency. Ensure work areas, equipment, and storage areas remain clean, organized, and safe. Coordinate with field team, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth transitions between jobsite collection, warehouse processing, and final delivery. Team Leadership & Employee Accountability Supervise, train, and develop production and warehouse employees. Assign daily tasks and ensure employees understand their responsibilities and performance expectations. Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, work quality, and adherence to company procedures. Address performance concerns promptly, consistently, and professionally. Promote teamwork, clear communication, and a culture of accountability. Provide hands-on training and ensure employees follow established procedures. Lead by example and be willing to work alongside the team when necessary. Take initiative rather than wait for problems to be brought to their attention. Set clear expectations and follow up to ensure tasks are completed. Hold employees accountable while treating them fairly and respectfully. Communicate effectively with employees, project managers, and senior leadership. Build a dependable, motivated, and productive team Quality Control & Inventory Management Ensure customer belongings are handled carefully and processed according to established procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records, barcode tracking, and ensure we are billing for special services. Conduct routine quality checks to identify missing items, tagging errors, incomplete work, or processing issues. Ensure items are properly staged and prepared for the next phase of service. Partner with leadership to apply and develop programs that prevent lost, misplaced, damaged, or incorrectly processed customer belongings. Safety & Process Improvement Enforce workplace safety practices and proper PPE and equipment usage. Ensure employees follow company standard operating procedures.
