The firm provides support across sales, marketing, product development, distribution, and back-office operations. We are seeking a Warehouse & Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Wheeling facility. This position is designed to be a versatile, hands-on member of the team who can contribute across multiple areas of the business, including order fulfillment, shipping, international documentation, receiving, assembly, quality control, inventory, and other operational functions. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to step into different responsibilities based on business needs. The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades who is dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with multiple teams and willingly support other functions when workload demands change. When order fulfillment or warehouse activity slows, this individual may be assigned to support other teams and projects within the Wheeling operation. The position is located in our Wheeling, IL facility and will report to the Warehouse Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As the firm continues to grow quickly, the ideal candidate will possess a tremendous amount of flexibility and resourcefulness regarding traditional duties and responsibilities. The work will continue to evolve; however, the following functions will form the foundation of the position: Order Fulfillment & Shipping Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Verify products, quantities, shipping information, and order documentation prior to shipment. Prepare shipments for domestic and international customers. Coordinate and complete required shipping and international documentation. Assist with shipping carrier coordination and resolve basic shipping issues as needed. Maintain accurate records related to shipments and fulfillment activities. Ensure completed orders are properly staged and ready for shipment. Receiving & Inventory Receive incoming products, materials, and supplies. Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, or other documentation. Inspect received goods for quantity, condition, and accuracy. Label, organize, and properly store incoming inventory. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts. Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure products and materials are stored appropriately. Communicate discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory concerns to the appropriate team members. Assembly & Product Support Perform product assembly and related hands-on operational tasks. Follow established assembly instructions, procedures, and quality standards. Assist with rework, product preparation, packaging, and other production-related activities as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Quality Control Inspect products and completed orders for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect products and communicate issues promptly. Assist with quality control processes and maintain required documentation. Ensure products meet established company standards before being shipped or moved to the next stage of the process. Cross-Functional Operations Support Provide support to other teams within the Wheeling operation based on workload and business priorities. Move between warehouse, fulfillment, assembly, receiving, QC, and other operational functions as needed. Assist with projects, special assignments, and other hands-on operational needs.
