Job Overview Rising Tide Technology Group (RTTG) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Technician to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this hands-on role, you will manage shipping, receiving, and inventory while supporting our unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations. Responsibilities also include handling hazardous materials, maintaining equipment readiness, and assisting with the assembly and installation of drone docking stations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with physical work, and brings basic electrical knowledge and experience with HAZMAT shipping and receiving. Prior drone experience is not required, but an interest in learning about UAS technology is a plus. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, and document inbound and outbound shipments Maintain accurate inventory counts and records, including chain-of-custody documentation Organize, stage, and store equipment to make the best use of warehouse space Lift, move, and transport equipment and packages safely, including items of 50+ lbs Charge, track, and rotate drone battery inventory so equipment is ready for missions Help the technical team prepare equipment and handle basic hardware tasks Assist with the assembly and installation of drone docking stations, utilizing basic electrical knowledge and experience with wiring, electrical components, and hardware connections. Handle the shipping and receiving of hazardous materials (HAZMAT), including lithium batteries, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, documentation, and compliance with applicable DOT and other transportation regulations. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safety-compliant Requirements 1 to 3 years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics work Proficient computer skills, including email, data entry, and basic spreadsheet use Basic electrical knowledge and hands-on experience with wiring, electrical components, and equipment assembly required. Experience with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipping and receiving, including proper handling, packaging, labeling, and documentation in accordance with applicable regulations. Preferred Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS) such as NetSuite, Fishbowl, SAP, or similar Familiarity with barcode scanners, RFID, or asset-tracking systems Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, or audits Experience tracking serialized or high-value equipment Physical Demands & Work Environment This position requires the ability to lift and carry over 50lbs and to stand and walk for extended periods. Work is performed in a warehouse environment which may involve exposure to noise, weather, or moving equipment.
