Job Summary We are a distribution company in Port Washington and we are looking for a team player to join our company. We are looking for a reliable and organized inventory control person. Key Responsibilities Write production orders for manufacturing. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Print labels for private label inventory. Place orders with vendors and have the ability to follow up. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock or damaged items to management. Maintain accurate product locations and ensure inventory is properly labeled. Handle inventory adjustments. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Work closely with purchasing, sales, customer service, and shipping teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and other equipment as authorized. Perform other warehouse and inventory duties as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel is a must. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely lift and move boxes and supplies, including packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
