PURPOSE
The Warehouse and Facilities Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of materials while also supporting general facility maintenance and basic office support needs. The position requires a dependable, hands-on individual who can work across warehouse operations, light maintenance, and administrative support to ensure a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Prepare, package and ship outgoing orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (as certified).
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize and maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse areas.
Facilities & General Maintenance:
- Perform desk and workstation height adjustments.
- Complete light cleaning, organization, painting and drywall touch-ups.
- Perform groundskeeping activities including, but not limited to, snow removal, lawn care coordination and trash removal.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
Office Support:
- Assist with furniture moves, office setup and workspace reconfigurations.
- Support mail distribution, supply stocking and other general related administrative tasks as needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in warehouse facilities or maintained work; three (3) years preferred.
- Forklift operator certification in accordance with OSHA CFR 1910.178 a plus.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTAL FUNCTIONS

- Proven ability to multi-task effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and more occasionally.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel and crouch.
- Ability to work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions.
