WAREHOUSE + EVENT CREW ASSOCIATE Warehouse + Event Operations · Garden City, Idaho PAY $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience POSITION Full-time, hourly; overtime with advance approval REPORTS TO General Manager SCHEDULE About 40 hours per week, flexible Monday through Saturday ABOUT LINEN + LOOT Linen + Loot is a design and event rental company specializing in curated décor for weddings, parties, and special events across the Treasure Valley and beyond. Our work is fast paced and hands on, equal parts organization, attention to detail, and physical capability, with typical high season from June through September and November through December. We're a small, mighty team who care deeply about the details and the client experience. We're looking for someone who's not only capable, but kind. THE JOB As Warehouse + Event Crew Associate, you are the strong back and steady presence behind every Linen + Loot event. You'll load and unload trucks, make deliveries, keep the warehouse organized, and be on site at our events, learning to direct the crew on takedowns. It's physical, fast moving, and never boring. If you show up on time, work hard, take pride in doing things right, and want to learn the event industry from the ground up, this role was built for you. For the right person, there's room to grow into a manager role. WHERE + WHEN Where: Linen + Loot Office / Warehouse, 3480 West Chinden Blvd., Garden City, ID 83714 When: This is a full-time, hourly role of about 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule that changes week to week with our event calendar. Mondays and Thursdays are our busiest warehouse days, and Fridays and Saturdays are our busy event days. We rarely work Sundays, and we do our best to schedule consecutive days off. Overtime requires advance approval. Travel is minimal, with occasional out of town events (Sun Valley, McCall). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is a primarily physical role. Most days are spent on your feet in the warehouse or at events, not behind a desk. You should be comfortable with: ● Frequent standing, twisting, bending, and moving for up to 8+ hours at a time, plus pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. (with assistance as needed). ● Frequently climbing ladders, stairs, and ramps while carrying items. ● Working in changing conditions. We keep our warehouse as comfortable as we can, but temperatures shift with the seasons, and many events are outdoors in true Idaho weather. WHAT YOU'LL DO ● Load + Unload: Load, pack, secure, and unload rental items for Will-Call and Delivery orders, and keep the truck and loading area organized. ● Deliver: Drive company trucks and vans for deliveries and pickups, after training. ● On Site at Events: Join the crew on site for setups and teardowns, and learn to direct the crew on takedowns until you're the person we count on to run them. ● Support the Warehouse: Move and shelve items (including top shelves and ladder work), organize, restock, and keep the warehouse clean and ready after every shift. ● Run Errands: Pick up supplies and handle the quick runs that keep events moving. ● Care for the Collection: Handle every item with care, and flag damaged or missing items right away so nothing gets lost or left on a shelf. ● Room to Grow: As you learn the ropes, you can grow into directing crew members on site and in the warehouse and, when things slow down, helping plan the weekly schedule. HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS ● Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for every scheduled shift. ● Trucks loaded accurately and on time. ● Items handled with care, with damage or missing items flagged right away. ● Warehouse left clean and organized at the end of every shift. ● Growing confidence directing the crew on takedowns. ● A positive, can-do attitude with teammates, clients, and venue staff.
