Warehouse and Delivery Coordinator Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY 

Buffalo Builders is looking for a Warehouse and Delivery Coordinator who will be responsible for receiving, organizing, staging, and delivering materials to support active construction projects. This role ensures accurate inventory control by validating bills of materials against purchase orders, preparing project-specific store inventories, and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment. The associate works closely with the Project Manager to stage materials according to project plans and ensures timely, secure delivery of materials to job sites. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, safe work conditions, and reliable material flow between the warehouse and job locations. 

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and following processes (BOMs, POs, staging plans).

WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Receives, Inventories and unloads shipments from vendors
• Validates bills of materials (BOMs) against Purchase Orders (Pos)
• Prepares Store Inventories from Project Manager provided Store BOM 
• Stages material by type and in an orderly fashion in warehouse on pallet racks
• Organizes materials in warehouse on pallet racks
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment: clean warehouse periodically as required to remove trash build up and pallet debris into warehouse dumpster

DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Operates a company-provided truck to transport materials between the warehouse and job sites 
• Loads and stages the job trailer weekly for delivery to jobsite
• Follows trailer staging plan designed by the PM
• Makes miscellaneous material pick-ups and deliver to jobsite as required
• Pulls material order by project # and Buffalo Builders provided bill of materials and load materials into enclosed trailer, secure cargo, and lock trailer
• Removes unloaded trailer from project location for superintendent, return to warehouse. Clean out trailer debris, restock for next project location

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required 

• Must have a clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Must be able to lift 60lbs(back support provided)
• Forklift certification
• Experience hauling long trailers
• OSHA 10 (orientation)

COMPENSATION 

• Hourly Rate:$25/hour. Overtime requires prior approval
• Use of a company-owned vehicle for job-related duties

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This position requires regular lifting, bending, standing, and working in warehouse and outdoor jobsite environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
