Job Description Purpose The Operator is an experienced warehouse and/or chemical process professional who demonstrates proficiency in site-specific procedures, equipment, systems, and material management processes. Working under the direction of the Group Leader or Senior Operator, the Operator safely and efficiently operates, monitors, and supports material management systems and warehouse activities in accordance with approved standard operating procedures, work instructions, and established quality standards. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant execution of daily operations, including inspecting equipment and materials, completing required documentation, dispensing materials and supporting the timely movement, handling, and control of materials. The Operator promotes a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance by following established protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and proactively identifying potential risks or process deviations. The Operator maintains compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and site policies, including standards governed by agencies such as the FDA and EPA. The position contributes to operational continuity and team effectiveness by supporting training, sharing process knowledge, and assuming designated Senior Operator responsibilities when needed and qualified. Through consistent performance, sound judgment, and adherence to procedures, the Operator helps ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations. Contribute to training new hires and operators by demonstrating standard operating procedures and safety practices. Collaborate proactively with maintenance, production, and project teams to identify, communicate, and resolve operational issues and optimize resource use.
