Forklift Operator – Job Description Job Responsibilities: 1 , Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely and efficiently load, unload, transport, and stack goods within the warehouse. 2, Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations to ensure products remain safe and undamaged during handling and storage. 3, Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with daily and periodic inventory counts according to established procedures. 4, Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and related equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair requirements. 5, Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment is required. Candidates with a valid forklift operator certification will be given preference. Must be available to work weekends and rotating shifts as required and be able to adapt to the demands of a warehouse environment. Experience handling, storing, or distributing fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, or other perishable food products is an asset. Must follow workplace safety procedures and demonstrate safe operating practices and strong safety awareness. Must be reliable, responsible, detail-oriented, and possess good communication and teamwork skills. Must be physically capable of working in a warehouse environment and flexible in performing various duties according to operational needs.
