We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Administration Assistant to join our team in Edmonton. Position Overview The Warehouse Administration Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the warehouse team. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse staff and internal and external customers to ensure freight is properly documented, counted, staged, and processed. Key Responsibilities Provide computer and general administrative support to warehouse operations. Print all inbound and trip documentation. Sort and zone Bills of Lading (B/Ls) for each inbound trip. Create labels and sort manifests according to special instructions. Scan and image multiple documents throughout the day as required. Accurately count and enter dock inventory twice per week. Audit dock inventory and investigate and correct discrepancies. Support warehouse operations as a biller when required. Provide email support regarding warehouse operational concerns. Identify, isolate, and protect high-value, heated, and time-sensitive freight. Maintain excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. Ensure freight is correctly staged in designated areas, including: Route dock Pre-appointment Appointment Dangerous Goods Overage, Shortage & Damage (OS&D) Other designated warehouse areas Accurately count freight and report any discrepancies between the Bill of Lading and the actual piece count. Perform other warehouse administrative duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Previous warehouse administration, logistics, transportation, or office experience is an asset. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook . Experience with AS/400 is considered an asset but is not required. Strong reading and writing skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
