Warehouse 2nd shift Supervisor- subcontractor 1099 to start

Job Summary Blue Mountain Distributors is seeking a dependable, hardworking Second Shift Warehouse Associate to support our evening warehouse operations. This position to start is a 1099 sub contractor as we continue to keep building back from complete loss of business. This position is responsible for unloading returning delivery trucks, putting away inventory, organizing warehouse stock, and assisting with packing grocery orders as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Unload delivery trucks as drivers return from their routes. Ensure all scheduled drivers and delivery vehicles are accounted for. Receive, organize, and properly store inventory. Handle refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable products. Sort and organize returned glass bottles, dairy crates, and other materials. Assist with picking and packing grocery orders. Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas. Communicate inventory discrepancies or operational concerns to management. Complete all required end-of-shift warehouse duties. Turn off designated lights, secure entrances, and lock the building before leaving. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently. Warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in refrigerated environments. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work a flexible evening departure time. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, beginning at 2:00 PM. This position provides eight hours of work daily. The employee must be flexible with their departure time, as closing responsibilities depend on the arrival of the final delivery truck.
