Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (certification preferred). Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift operator certification. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse operations. Strong organizational and time management skills. Previous experience in wholesale trade or related industries. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to ensure inventory integrity. Organize and maintain warehouse stock in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate timely order fulfillment and delivery schedules. Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Skills: The required skills enable the warehouse associate to efficiently manage inventory, process orders, and maintain a safe working environment. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment ensures timely and secure handling of goods. Knowledge of inventory systems supports accurate tracking and reporting, reducing errors and improving workflow. Preferred skills such as forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse management software enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
