Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Intermediate Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with intermediate experience to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is comfortable using warehouse equipment and basic inventory systems. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Unload, sort, label, and store products in designated locations Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency Load outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation is completed Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control and stock reconciliation Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 2 to 4 years of warehouse or distribution experience Basic understanding of inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Ability to lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 pounds or more as required Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Preferred Skills: Experience with order fulfillment and shipping systems Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF devices Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting May require overtime, weekends, based on business needs Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity throughout the day Performance Expectations: Maintain high levels of accuracy in order handling and inventory management Follow safety protocols consistently Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic Company Description River City Personnel is partnering with local businesses to recruit and place full-time associates.
