Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products across designated routes. Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to meet delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups. Handle up to 70 lbs and moving tasks with proper technique to prevent injury and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered. Qualifications Experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or in a similar logistics role. Valid driver’s license; experience driving box trucks or vehicles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform lifting, moving, loading, and unloading tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols on the road.
