Role Overview
We warmly welcome dedicated individuals to join our team as a Freight Handler. In this highly active, foundational role, you are the critical first step in our distribution process. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of commercial trailers, ensuring that freight flows smoothly into our facility. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy hands-on physical work.
Your Core Responsibilities
• Trailer Unloading: Safely process inbound freight, manually moving boxes onto conveyor belts or sorting them onto designated pallets with care.
• Freight Organization: Stage merchandise systematically in the receiving area, ensuring all products are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Outbound Loading: Build stable, secure walls of outbound freight inside departing trailers to maximize space and ensure safe transit.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain a pristine, organized workspace, following all Walmart safety protocols and ergonomic lifting guidelines.
Qualifications & Rewards
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess the physical stamina to continuously lift, bend, and carry freight weighing up to 50 pounds.
