Responsibilities Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite food orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery Organize and prioritize food orders based on order complexity and guest needs Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen team to relay special requests or modifications Assist in food presentation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards before serving Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote efficiency Support food safety protocols by handling dishes properly and adhering to sanitation standards Assist with bussing tables and managing food handling tasks as needed to support overall service flow Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including expediting or kitchen support roles Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between kitchen staff and servers Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety standards Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with POS systems and organizational tools used in restaurant operations Experience with banquet service, food handling, or culinary tasks is a plus Demonstrated hospitality mindset with excellent customer service skills Basic numeracy skills for order accuracy and inventory management This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.
