Role Description The VP of Supply Chain Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and leading end-to-end supply chain strategies that support the insights and recommendations presented in the firm’s equity research. This role oversees the analysis of demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory operations across industries to inform research reports and advisory outputs. Day-to-day tasks include building strategic frameworks, evaluating supply chain risks and efficiencies, synthesizing operational data, and collaborating with research analysts to integrate supply chain perspectives into coverage. The VP will also define best practices, guide scenario modeling, and contribute thought leadership on supply chain trends that impact company valuations and market performance. The role involves cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, and mentoring team members on supply chain concepts and methodologies. Qualifications Strong expertise in Demand Planning and forecasting, with the ability to model scenarios and assess impacts on operational performance. Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Management and strategy, including network design, risk mitigation, and performance optimization. Experience in Procurement and supplier management, focusing on cost efficiency, contract strategy, and supply continuity. Proficiency in Logistics Management and Inventory Management, including distribution planning, lead times, and working capital considerations. Background in equity research, financial analysis, or consulting with exposure to operational and supply chain evaluations is highly beneficial. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms) and the ability to translate complex findings into clear narratives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. Proven leadership experience, including managing cross-functional initiatives and mentoring teams in a remote environment. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
