Sedron is seeking a senior supply chain leader to design, build, and lead an enterprise supply chain function that supports the company’s next stage of growth as it scales its design-build-own-operate-maintain model. This role is responsible for improving governance, standardizing procure-to-pay, strengthening supplier management, improving inventory and materials control, and building better support for project delivery, manufacturing, and operating sites. The VP, Supply Chain and Procurement will establish the operating model, systems discipline, metrics, and organizational alignment needed to improve cost, schedule predictability, quality, compliance, and working capital performance.  This role requires a leader who can operate strategically and tactically in a fast-growing, engineering-intensive environment where processes, systems, and accountabilities are still maturing. The ideal candidate will bring strong transformation capability, practical execution experience, and the ability to influence across functional teams (e.g. project delivery, engineering, finance, manufacturing).

Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:

  • Design and implement Sedron’s enterprise supply chain operating model, including sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, supplier management, and transactional controls
  • Establish governance, delegation of authority, approval workflows, and clear decision rights across supply chain-related activities
  • Standardize Sedron’s procure-to-pay process, including buy (requisitioning, sourcing, purchase order issuance), release, receive, and pay (three-way match, invoice resolution, and exception handling)
  • Lead strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, including supplier qualification, approved supplier governance, pricing strategy, negotiations, contract standards, and supplier performance measurement
  • Improve inventory accuracy, receiving discipline, warehouse practices, and material master governance across manufacturing, project, and operating environments
  • Partner with engineering and project delivery leaders to improve scope lock, stage-gate discipline, BOM readiness, and engineering change management before major purchasing commitments are made
  • Build effective supply chain support for operating and maintenance teams, including MRO, spare parts, logistics coordination, and site-level replenishment support
  • Support implementation and adoption of ERP and related systems using standardized processes and minimal customization
  • Establish KPI dashboards, operating reviews, and continuous improvement routines to improve service, cost, inventory, supplier performance, and process compliance
  • Ensure supply chain processes and records support compliance requirements, including insurance, documentation, domestic content, and other vendor-related obligations where applicable

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Enable transitional operating model, directly supervise supply chain personnel, which may include sourcing managers, buyers, expediters, inventory and materials personnel, logistics coordinators, and procurement operations staff
  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the supply chain organization
  • Provides work direction, sets priorities, and evaluates performance across supply chain team members and, where relevant, dotted-line site or project support roles

This position allows for growth and career progression to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.
